Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)
When starting on steep hills or slippery surfaces, HAC minimizes vehicle roll-back by controlling the brake pressure as the driver’s foot is removed from the brake to the accelerator. (Extra Cab & Double Cab)
Downhill Assist Control (DAC)
When driving down steep slopes where the engine brake alone is not enough to reduce the speed of the vehicle, the brake fluid pressure is automatically controlled to maintain a low vehicle speed. As a result, it is possible to drive down slopes without the tires locking while keeping the vehicle stable and concentrate on steering operations. This control is effective even when driving down slippery, steep or bumpy slopes. (G Grade Premium only)
